Princess Julia Cantacuzene was the first granddaughter of former United States President Ulysses S. Grant and the first child of Frederick Dent Grant, eldest son of the President . She married a Russian prince in 1899 and became a noted American author and historian on the Russian Revolution. Her speech at the Twentieth Century Club of Buffalo was cosponsored by the Garret Club of Buffalo.
