Attend Club's Mother, Daughter Luncheon
Among guests at the mother and daughter luncheon in the Twentieth Century Club today were Mrs. James C. Carpenter, her daughter, Mrs. Edward J. Laube, and the latter's daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charles A. Laube II. An international theme prevailed at the luncheon with bright travel posters decorating the walls and tables centered with forsythia and miniature flags, one American and two foreign. Dancers from the International Institute provided entertainment. In the receiving line with Mrs. Ralph Upson, chairman, and Mrs. Thurber LeWin, co-chairman, of the party, was Mrs. Edwin H. McCormick, president of the club.
