Description
Part of a packet of 20 postcards
An opera production of Turandot is staged on a massive set with high, tiered walls resembling ancient stone architecture. A large circular structure at the center contains a blue mask with a neutral expression located above a central staircase. Numerous costumed performers, some in armor and others in robes, are arranged across the different levels and floor of the set.
