Panoramic view of the main hall of the Forsyth Dental Infirmary for Children, a ground-breaking and universal model for the modern care of children's oral health (whatever their economic circumstances) located in Boston, Massachusetts and founded as a charitable institution in 1914.

A large indoor medical ward with high ceilings and rows of hanging light fixtures. Beds and medical stations line both sides of the long room, with many individuals positioned along the walls. Several persons in white uniforms stand or move through the central aisle, and additional people are gathered near the far end of the hall. Multiple tall windows run along both sides of the room, some with shades partially drawn.
