Social Session menu for the Seventh and Eighth District Dental Societies banquet at the Osburn House on October 28, 1874.

A printed dinner menu from a “Social Session of the Seventh & Eighth District Dental Societies” held at the Osburn House on Wednesday evening, October 28th, 1874. The menu lists several categories of food offerings, including soup, fish, cold dishes, roasts, game, entrées, vegetables, dessert, and coffee. Items include oyster soup, boiled salmon trout with anchovy sauce, chicken salad, decorated hams, ribs and sirloin of beef, roast mallard duck, chicken fricassee, mashed potatoes, English plum pudding with brandy sauce, various pies, ice creams, fruits, nuts, and coffee. The text is centered and presented in a formal 19th-century printed style.
