On the left, Nora Joyce wears a light-colored coat with a fur collar and a cloche hat. In the center, James Joyce wears an eye patch and leans their head on one hand. On the right, Giorgio Joyce, with neatly combed hair and glasses, is mid-bite with a spoon held to their mouth. Dense foliage fills the background. Inserted negative "This neg. rec'd. from Sylvia Beach?" per note on sleeve.
