A historic courtyard is flanked by Gothic-style brick buildings. The building on the left features tall, pointed arched windows, while the larger central building has a steep gabled roof with smaller arched windows and buttresses. At the center of the courtyard is a small, roofed open structure supported by decorative columns. A lamp post and stone chain barriers line the open space. The area appears to be paved with cobblestones, and a few people are faintly visible, one near the center and another near the right edge. The photo includes a studio imprint: "JAN BULHAK, WILNO" in the bottom right.
