Description
A narrow, winding cobblestone street lined with tall, closely built masonry buildings. The buildings have multiple shuttered windows and arched doorways, with iron lanterns mounted on the walls. One open window on the left casts a distinct shadow. The street curves out of view in the distance, and strong contrast between sunlight and shadow gives the scene a dramatic tone.
