Description
Interior views of the General Electric Company's industrial exhibition hall at the 1901 Pan-American Exhibition in Buffalo, N.Y. It featured a working display of large machinery components that transformed the electricity sent from Niagara Falls to the lower current needed on the exposition grounds. The "great nickel-steel ring" and the 18 step-down transformers are on display. A massive circular structure is positioned on the left, with smaller electrical machines displayed in the center. The walls are decorated with banners, including a visible General Electric (GE) emblem.
