Black and white photographic studio portrait containing two separate adjacent portraits of Charles William Bethune, son of architects Louise Blanchard Bethune and Robert Armour Bethune, positioned side by side, one with a mustache and one without. Both views depict Charles W. Bethune dressed in formal attire with a white shirt, dark jacket, and bow tie. In the left view, he faces forward, and in the right view, he is turned slightly to the side. The background is dark and plain, with minor surface marks visible.
