If cord is down in
vag will have to push
it up and bring the
head down, if head is
already engaged use
the forceps, one way
to tie a piece of sponge
to cord, best to put the
patient in knee chest-
position and push the
cord up, this will be very
apt to lead to asphyxia
as long as the heart beats
we have a condition in
which resp. may be regained, may be known by
passage of meconium
deliver as soon as possible
clear out mouth and
supply air by artificial
resp, mere pressure on
chest then allowing
to expand another to
double child up and
straighten, another
to use catheter putting
into, trachea and
breathing [into] it
