Cast on 16 stiches, knit 9 together pearl
3 together, 6th stich knit 1 pearl 1 knit 1 all
in the same stich, then pearl 3 in one again
then make 3 in one again knit the other
two mittens large size womans
cast on 60 stitches, widen till 70.
9 ribs to middle of hand (widen gore
10 stiches, cast on 10 more, widen till
32 stitches for thumb)
for consumption

Pastiles for Asthma, powdered Lobelia 1 oz
(small mittens) powdered Stramonia 1 1/2 oz
cast on 45 widen 14 powdered salt [pet??] 2 12/ g
plain 8 narrow 14 mix in paste & bake slowly
thumb 22, widen 4 plain 4 narrow 4 bouts
wring spong out hot or
warm water before using
wring quite dry before
Putting cream on
            Cast on 16 stiches, knit 9 together pearl
3 together, 6th stich knit 1 pearl 1 knit 1 all
in the same stich, then pearl 3 in one again
then make 3 in one again knit the other
