Description
Landscape plan titled Revised Design Plan for the Gardens of Darwin D. Martin, Esq. at Graycliff, Lake View, New York. The drawing illustrates the estate grounds organized around the main house. Features include a croquet lawn with a marked court, apple orchard, garden beds near the house, and large lawn areas extending toward Lake Erie. Pathways connect the house to the orchard and croquet lawn, with heavy plantings indicated along property edges. The plan is attributed to landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman and dated November 1929.
