A blueprint of a plan for an evergreen garden. The design includes the names and locations of various plants around the border. Text in the center of the blueprint includes Planting Notes and List of Lilies. Scale: 1"=4'0"
Planting Notes
In planting the evergreen garden great care should be taken that the soil has been properly prepared. Instruction for this on plan #3. The Taxus cuspidata pyramidalis should be planted first, with the proper heights arranged according to the plan. The Taxus cuspidata should be nicely arranged to fill up all the rest of the planting area. The tallest ones at the back and lower one tward the front of the bed. Great care should be taken that the plants are not planted in straight rows. When all the Taxus have been planted the lilies are to be arranged in groups of 3 to 5 and planted between the Taxus. Lilium candidum, regale and speciosum rubrum and albom in the front of the bed, lilium auratum and longiflorum toward back of bed. The ground cover is to be planted in sweeps according to plan.
