            Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The black and white aerial photograph shows open farmland divided into rectangular and irregular plots with patches of woodland scattered throughout. Roads run vertically and diagonally, connecting small clusters of houses and farm buildings. In the bottom portion, a long rail line with sidings and cleared areas extends across the image. A curved rail spur appears on the lower right. The landscape is otherwise mostly agricultural fields and open land with scattered vegetation. The handwritten number “8226-356” is visible at the top right, and printed text at the bottom right reads: “FAIRCHILD AERIAL SURVEYS INC. N.Y.C.”
