            Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The black and white aerial photograph depicts a combination of farmland, residential streets, and railway infrastructure. Residential neighborhoods with grid-like streets are concentrated along the central vertical axis, with open agricultural fields surrounding them. On the left side, a large rail yard with multiple parallel tracks stretches across the image. To the lower right, another rail yard includes a circular roundhouse with radial tracks leading outward. Several roads intersect the scene, running horizontally and vertically. A river with a winding course passes through the lower left. The handwritten number “8226-38” appears at the top right, and printed text at the bottom right reads: “FAIRCHILD AERIAL SURVEYS INC. N.Y.C.”
