            Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The black and white aerial photograph shows a large expanse of farmland divided into rectangular plots. In the lower left corner, intersecting runways from an airfield are visible. A river with tree-lined banks curves through the lower right quadrant, accompanied by adjacent open land and scattered buildings. Roads cross diagonally and horizontally through the image, with a rail line running from the upper right toward the center. In the upper areas, patches of lighter ground suggest excavation or quarry activity. The handwritten number “8226-380” appears in the top right corner, and printed text at the bottom right reads: “FAIRCHILD AERIAL SURVEYS INC. N.Y.C.”
