This aerial photograph shows a semi-urban area transitioning into rural land. The bottom and center portions are filled with rows of residential housing laid out on a grid of streets. Toward the top and right, farmland and open fields are visible, with a winding river cutting through the landscape. Industrial and railroad facilities, including a large rail yard with multiple tracks and circular rail features (possibly turntables or roundhouses), appear in the bottom left corner. The top right includes patchwork fields and wooded riverbanks. The photo is labeled “8226-77” in the upper right, with “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.” along the bottom edge.
