The aerial photograph shows a large rail yard complex with numerous parallel tracks extending diagonally across the left and center of the image. A rail roundhouse with radiating tracks is visible on the left side. To the right, additional sets of curved tracks lead into industrial facilities and warehouses. Below the rail yard, a residential neighborhood laid out in a grid pattern fills the bottom of the image, with rows of houses and streets. A circular park or landscaped area is visible within the neighborhood grid. The bottom right corner contains the label "Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc N.Y.C.," and the top right is marked with the code "8226-94."
