Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The aerial photograph depicts a large industrial rail yard complex within an urban area. Numerous parallel rail tracks dominate the center and left portions of the image, with trains and rail cars visible on the lines. At the lower left, a circular rail roundhouse with radiating tracks is clearly visible. The right side contains more rail lines, warehouses, and industrial facilities, connected to nearby residential neighborhoods laid out in a grid pattern. Streets border the rail yard on all sides, with rows of houses extending outward from the industrial zone. The bottom right corner bears the label "Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc N.Y.C.," and the top right shows the code "8225-95."
