The lower portion is dominated by large rail yards with multiple tracks, adjacent warehouses, and industrial buildings. Diagonal rail lines intersect the grid, creating irregular block shapes. To the right and upper sections, rows of houses fill the neighborhood with scattered larger institutional and commercial buildings interspersed. Some open lots and construction areas are also visible. The bottom right corner bears the label "Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc N.Y.C.," and the top right shows the code "8225-97."
