Title
Notre Dame 850th anniversary welcome poster
Description
Started in 1183, this iconic cathedral on an island is one of France's best-known sights. Surprisingly, much of its appearance dates from the 19th-century reconstruction by Viollet-le-Duc, a major advocate of Gothic style who didn't hesitate to alter buildings according to his own taste!
