Title
A headless saint commemorated
Description
St. Denis, pictured at the left, supposedly had his head chopped off atop Montmartre ['Martyr's mountain'] in Paris, but then walked nearly six miles to St. Denis where he finally died. Because a saint is buried here, this church is called a basilica.
