This black-and-white aerial photograph shows an urban area in the process of development. A grid of streets extends across the image, but many blocks are only partially filled with houses and buildings, while large sections remain open fields or wooded tracts. Some cleared lots and construction activity are visible, particularly in the lower and central portions. The upper part of the image contains denser clusters of houses, while the left and bottom edges remain largely undeveloped farmland. The label “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.” is printed in the lower right corner, and the number “8226-254” is written in the upper right.
