This black-and-white aerial photograph depicts a tightly packed residential district. The layout consists primarily of a grid of streets filled with rows of houses, with several diagonal streets cutting across the grid. Scattered larger buildings, open lots, and school or recreation fields are visible among the residential blocks. The scene is densely developed, with very little open land. The bottom right corner includes the label “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.,” and the upper right is marked with the number “8226-112.”
