William E. Martin's house, Oak Park, Illinois, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, which served as an inspiration to Darwin D. Martin in contracting Wright to design his home in Buffalo, New York. William E. Martin was Darwin D. Martin's older brother.

A multi-story house with flat, overhanging roofs and wide horizontal lines stands surrounded by vegetation. The building has several rectangular windows arranged in rows, and a large covered porch area with planters along the perimeter. Two people stand in the yard near a walkway leading to the house, with trees and plants growing throughout the garden. The number 636 is visible on one of the entrance pillars.
