Dear Dr. Ames:--
Yours of recent
date received.
Glad to hear from you.
Had no idea you were quite that
age. Congratulations on it and your
descendents.
I have no distinct recollection
of you, tho. I have a faint idea there
was a rather fully developed female
in the class. I remember an Anna
Culver, I believe the name was, of the
1888 class and Helen Moorehouse of
our class.
Dr. Hall did not prove to be at
Gilbertville if there is such a place.
Have not heard from Dr. Medillan
of Long Beach, Cal. as yet. Remember
him because he was from Orangeville
over here.
Dr. Alexander of Castle Rock, Colo. has
not had time to answer.

BRANTFORD; ONT.
Was pleased to know that Dr Fred.
Peterson our /82 and /83 pathologist and
Gro. E Brewer /84 rose to high positions
in Columbia Univ., N.Y.
Another graduate of /09, C. Gordon
Heyd is a professor in Columbia graduate
school. He was raised here in Brantford.
I am two miles or so outside the city
but have city delivery of mail.
My object in writing was to see if
there was a possibility of my being the
last rose of summer as it were.
Francis D. Comfort, president of our
class died some years ago. He was my
room mate in our first year.
I attended N.Y. University in /85-6
and heard high arterial tension preached
all winter, by [Loom??] something I could not remember
having heard of in Buffalo. Also they had a
man on children, one on orthopedic surgery,
on on nose and throat, a much fuller faculty.
The old chemist, a son of Droper of photographic fame
died during the session and Witthams came on. The
boys attended faithfully.
Thank you. yours tl. WO Langs
