An illustration of an early icebox refrigerator showing the internal structure. The cabinet has a central compartment with metal shelves and an upper chamber labeled “ICE.” Arrows indicate the flow of cool air circulating from the ice compartment down through the shelves. The exterior appears to be made of wood with decorative carvings, and the base rests on short curved legs.
