Description
Landscape plan titled Revised Design Plan for the Gardens of Darwin D. Martin, Esq. at Graycliff, Lake View, New York. The drawing shows the grounds organized around the main house, with labeled areas including croquet lawns, vegetable garden, apple orchard, and lawns extending to the lakefront. A circular drive and pathways connect the house to surrounding gardens and plantings. Heavy border plantings and tree groupings are marked along property edges, with apple trees arranged near the house. The design is attributed to landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman and dated January 8, 1930.
