Description
Revised planting plan for the Darwin D. Martin estate at Graycliff, Lake View, New York. The drawing details heavy planting along the east boundary property line, with labeled trees and shrubs such as native oak, viburnum, honeysuckle, and hemlock. A small inset at the upper right shows revised planting between the garage and forecourt, including hawthorn, honeysuckle, and viburnum around an existing hedge apple. Another inset at the left notes a vegetable garden with adjoining plantings. The sheet is titled “Revised Heavy Planting of East Boundary Property Line” and signed by landscape architect Ellen Biddle Shipman, dated March 24, 1931.
