Description
A central figure in a voluminous, dark purple gown kneels beneath a crucifixion scene. The gown is adorned with dotted gold accents, and the figure's hair extends long down the back. Above is a depiction of a figure on a cross with a halo-like circle around the head, rendered in a simplified, stylized form. The background is dark with subtle purples and reds, and the bottom edge features gold text reading, “YET AM I VERY SORRY FOR MY SIN.” The artwork is signed “MARGARET MACDONALD 1897.”
