Two figures recline closely in an embrace against a dark background. The figure on the left has long, sweeping hair that curves around both figures, enclosing them in a circular form. Gold text appears along the bottom edge reading, “OZANA, SHALL I PRAY FOR THEE? HER CHEEK IS PRESSED TO THINE!” The work is signed “FRANCES E. MACDONALD 1897.”
