            Description
In 1978,  after heavy rains, many Love Canal residents complained of dark, thick, and chemical smelling liquids appearing in their basements.
                    A basement or utility room wall made of concrete blocks with visible stains and discoloration. Several glass jars sit on a ledge near the top of the wall, two filled with a red substance. Exposed pipes and wires run vertically along the wall, and a metal rod leans against it.
