Description
A group of people stand on the stone steps of a neoclassical-style building with tall columns and large windows. They hold protest signs with various messages such as “TAX US ON VALUE,” “NO NO’s: No Basement, No Garden, No Air, Just Chemicals,” “GOVERNOR CAREY ONLY MAKES PROMISES,” and “YOU GIVE AID TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES. WHY NOT US?” A child is present among the group, and one person holds a baby. The gathering appears peaceful, with individuals spaced along the stairs in advocacy of environmental or residential concerns.
