Description
Used to draw blood
Syringe made of bone ivory.
An ivory syringe with a slender, cylindrical body is shown against a dark background. The instrument features a smooth, tapered shaft that narrows toward a rounded nozzle at one end, while the opposite end widens into a bulb-shaped plunger handle. Decorative turned rings appear around the midsection, and the polished ivory surface highlights the material’s pale color and fine craftsmanship. The simple, elongated form reflects its use as a handheld medical syringe.
