South Buffalo, Cazenovia Park to West Seneca boundary.
Western New York Aerial Photograph Collection
Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
This aerial photograph shows a semi-rural area with a mix of farmland, residential streets, and natural features. In the upper left, a river winds through the landscape, bordered by fields and scattered houses. Toward the top center, a large oval track is visible, likely a horse racing track or training ground. Residential neighborhoods with gridded streets and rows of houses appear in the upper and right portions. The central area contains a dense cluster of trees and open land, while farmland and smaller clusters of homes occupy the lower half. Several roads and rail lines cut across the area, connecting the developed and rural sections. The photo number “8226-8” is handwritten in the upper right corner, with “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.” printed at the bottom.
