Title
Voltaire's church
Description
This small church stands in Ferney-Voltaire, in France just on the Swiss border. The country estate of the noted French writer Voltaire stands adjacent to this church - and the village itself is on the outskirts of Geneva. Whenever Voltaire got into political hot water, he would cross the border until things quieted down.
Voltaire had the structure moved to his property from the nearby town of Ferney.
