Title
Ceilling, Alhambra, Granada
Description
The Alhambra takes its name from Arabic, meaning "Red Fort." Built in the mid-14th century, it remains one of the most glorious examples of Moorish architecture. Depiction of humans is not permitted in Muslim art. Hence, craftsmen turned to intricate designs in tiles, ceilings and the like.
