Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
This black-and-white aerial image captures a mostly rural landscape intersected by straight grid-patterned roads, some fully developed and others still under construction. At the top of the image, residential plots are visible with houses spaced apart along the streets. The bottom half of the image is dominated by large rectangular farmland fields with varying tones, likely representing different crops or fallow land. Tree clusters and brush patches appear sporadically, breaking up the agricultural layout. Toward the left edge, a circular landscaped feature with curving paths can be seen, possibly a park or garden area. The photograph is labeled 8226-214 in the upper right, with “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.” printed at the bottom right.
