This black-and-white aerial photograph shows an industrial district flanked by residential neighborhoods. At the center and top of the image, large rectangular factory buildings, warehouses, and yards are visible, intersected by multiple rail lines and sidings. Open industrial lots and storage areas surround the facilities. To the left and bottom, blocks of single-family houses are arranged in a regular grid pattern, with some curving streets breaking the uniformity. A park or open green space is located near the lower left, while additional residential development fills the right side. A small ball field can be seen near the bottom right. The top right corner is labeled with the number 8226-228, and the bottom right corner notes Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C..
