This black-and-white aerial photograph shows an urban residential area laid out in a dense street grid. Rows of houses fill most of the image, with very little open land. A rail corridor runs vertically near the center, with tracks and associated facilities visible. On the left side, a rectangular ballfield can be seen within the residential grid. Some cleared lots and areas under development are scattered throughout. The lower right corner bears the label “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.,” and the upper right is marked with the number “8226-264.”
