Title
Traffic jam, Grand Trunk Road
Description
The Grand Trunk Road stretches more than 2,500 kilometres (1,600 miles) across northern India, from Bangladesh to Pakistan and beyond. It has been the subject of many essays. The current reality, however, is one of high traffic density, mixing heavy trucks, speeding passenger cars, overcrowded buses, mopeds, and the ever-present oxcarts and pedestrians on the shoulders.
