Description
This is a letter from the Kashag (Bka’ shag, the Cabinet of the Tibetan Government) to the King of Nepal dated approximately 1857 in the Fire Snake year. The Cabinet agreed to the request of the King to send an investigation team to settle a dispute concerning grazing land between two areas near the border with Nepal, the (lCang Pa) area of Kyrong (sKyid grong) and the (mThong sMon area). The district officer of Kyrong (sKyid grong) was requested to assist to the settlement of the issue.
